Breastfeeding is natural and normal, but that isn’t always equated with easy. At the end of this packed class, you will: understand how milk is made; how to tell if baby is getting enough; identify the best evidence-based practices for breastfeeding success; understand normal baby behavior, patterns and feeding/fullness cues; identify common challenges and how to best support them; understand the importance of positioning and latch; describe how Partners can offer mom support; know pumping basics and strategize a plan and resources to support breastfeeding at birth, during the early postpartum period and during the first few weeks at home.
