Join Amba Certified Instructor, Anais Foley-Kennedy and Owner of The Root, Kellie Edson, for an afternoon of Amba Movement, harvest themed mandala making, journaling, reflection and seasonal intention setting.
The beautiful crisp Autumn Season is just around the corner (hallelujah!) and we would love for you to join us for our 2nd seasonal women’s mini-retreat to connect with your body, yourself, and other women as we intentionally find ourselves rooted heading into the busy end of the year.
The Autumn Equinox takes place the day after our workshop. “Equinox” means equal – meaning that this is the time of year when we have equal amount of light and dark. It’s a season for finding balance all areas of our lives as we are thrust into a chaotic season filled with other’s expectations and pressures. It’s a time to celebrate the Harvest of what you have created thus far during 2019 before turning inward to winter.
The afternoon will include a 75 minute Amba Movement Class, directed journaling and sharing circle, communal making of a harvest-themed mandala and delicious fall-themed tea & treats. Each participant will draw a tarot card to help clarify her personal ‘theme’ for the season and we will write our intentions on small pumpkins to carry forth throughout the season.
What is Amba Movement?
Amba uses nature-based movement and the elements of nature to drop into a deeper relationship with your body, heart, and essence.
Amba Movement is a feminine, earth-based and movement practice that guides women home to their wholeness. The practice is based in the 5 Elements of Nature – earth, water, air, fire, and space and explores embodying three aspects of the Feminine: Sacred (your essence), Wild (your body), Loved (your heart).
Our 75 minute class will include fluid yoga-style movements incorporating Body Awakening, Movement, Deep Nourishment and will lead us into our sharing circle as we move through the workshop.
Workshop Cost: $45
Space for this intimate gathering is Limited.
We can’t wait to get cozy with you!
Lots of Love,
Kellie & Anais
