Big Sibling To Be

The arrival of a sibling, for all the joy and excitement it brings, brings a significant adjustment for each family member including any children involved. This class is designed to help with this new transition in their world. She will show pictures of the baby’s growth in the womb, talk about how they eat, go potty and what can they hear. Then in an age appropriate demonstration, using a mommy doll, Lyl will talk about how a baby is born. Each child will then have their own baby doll to diaper, feed, and hold. Children will also get to watch a short “Silly Sibling” interactive video.  Class will also include a discussion and demonstration with the dolls on safety involving the new baby and the big sibling’s role.  Class will end with a craft and parents will leave with an information packet on Sibling Relationships.
